Comic Station Issue #25 – June 19th 2013

Comic Station Feature #25
We at Comic Station try to highlight new releases and other series many might otherwise overlook. We typically don’t report on long-standing series unless revolutionary. We add a little something extra in our Reviews and Recommendation section.
New Releases: Small publishers are the theme this Comic Station. Starting with Dark Horse Comic’s Captain Midnight #0 returning from the WWII era via the bermuda triangle. From the writer of World War Z, The Extinction Parade #1 by Max Brooks from Avatar Press. Finally, Liberator #1 from Black Mask Comics brings protestors and vigilantes together.
Review: The review this week on Comic Station is one that won’t come out till September. Super! #1 from the independent publisher Unlikely Heroes Studios creates a vibrant world of colorful characters. They might start as near-parodies, but they soon stand on their own. A blast to read, and highly recommended.
Recommendation: Scott doesn’t recommend a single comic this week. Rather we a Comic Station recommend reading a few select Superman books before going to see Man of Steel.
Thank you and please leave comments here or on YouTube as we continue to evolve our coverage. For a listing of more New Releases we couldn’t get to, a list can be found below the video.
